Spiritual renewal requires us to wait on the Lord alone in the midst of great trials. Our faith and trust should be tested to gain strength and spiritual help from God at the right time.

Do you believe that it is possible to strengthen us through adversity?
If your answer is yes then keep reading ...

Rather, read carefully: Isaiah 40: 27-31

Why do you complain, O Jacob, and why do you complain, O Israel, "The Lord is not interested in my situation, my God does not consider my cause?" Do you not know? Never heard of it? The Lord is the eternal God, the Creator of all the earth. He does not grow weary or exhausted, his wisdom is unfathomable. He strengthens the weary and gives strength to the powerless. Even young men grow tired and exhausted, and young men stumble and fall, but those who wait on the Lord renew their strengths. They fly very high like eagles; they run and do not get exhausted, they walk and they do not get tired.Isaiah 40: 27-31

There are always those times when it seems like Satan is getting the best of us. Sometimes it's a little hard to keep your faith and trust God when it's all going against you and we're in the midst of one of the biggest battles of our life. It is in those times when we need the Lord more than ever. It is in those times when our faith and trust in God are really put to the test. This is where the rubber meets the road, so to speak, in our walk with the Lord.

It is easy to live for God and trust him when everything is going well. It is not so easy to do it when the weight of the whole world is on our shoulders. Many Christians rescue God as storms become difficult.

If your life is in the midst of turmoil and the waves of temptation are upon your life to bother you, seek and trust God, for it is the time when He is really testing your faith to see if you will pass or fail. This is the time when your trust is created. This is the moment when your relationship with God will truly show your true depth.

In this man I will boast, but not in myself, except in my weaknesses. Even if I preferred to boast, I would not be foolish, because I would be speaking the truth. I avoid doing this so that no one thinks of me more than I see or hear of me. To prevent me from exalting myself because of the greatness of these revelations, I was given a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan, for me Three times I prayed to the Lord to take him from me. But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore, I will boast even more joyfully in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest in me. Therefore, for Christ's sake I rejoice in weaknesses, insults, needs, persecutions, anguishes. For when I am weak I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12: 5-10

In the same way, our behavior as a Christian is sometimes shaped by the "encouragement" of the danger of unfavorable circumstances. Without God's loving correction and faithful discipline, we would never develop spiritual strength and endurance. If the Lord did not allow the threatening conditions to come into our lives, then we would succumb to feelings of self-sufficiency and overconfidence.

No temptation came to you that was not common to men. And God is faithful; it will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when they are tempted, he will provide an escape for them to endure.1 Corinthians 10:13

God never promised that we would not have difficult times. He never promised us to navigate through life without problems. What He has promised is that He will never leave us nor forsake us. He promised that He would be with us in all our needs. He promised in Psalms 55:22, "Deliver your worries to the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to fall."

In the passage above, Israel became discouraged, so God had to remind them of who He is! And that is still in control of all things. Those who would trust him would be renewed in his strength.

I do not know about you, but there are times when my strength fails. I know many of you too, because you always ask for prayer by force to defend the Lord. There is nothing wrong with praying for strength. In fact, this is the best thing you can do. But if you really want to have more strength, God has already set the standard for you to strengthen yourself in these verses.

The first thing you must realize is who God is and what He is doing for you now.
For you, the problems you are facing seem to be bigger than those of other people, but there are people who have faced and are facing the same situations as you or even worse. Your problems are no surprises to God. He knew what was to come and already has an answer for each of them. But we will only see victory if we walk the path with faith toward God.

God is God and He is the Almighty. There is no greater problem than our God and operating He who will prevent. There is no limit to the release and provision for what you need. God never gets tired and is always listening and answering our prayers, according to his will.

What will we do with the trials we face?

Will we resort to our own devices and make decisions that will lead us to have less time for God, for the church, or even for our families?

We will forget the Word of God and become depressed because we do not have the faith that everything will be resolved at the right time determined by God. The Apostle Paul said: In Romans 8:28, "We know that God works in all things for the good of those who love him, who are called according to his purpose."

Romans 8:28.

Shall we abandon the promises given by God to our lives?

Are we going to forget about our commitments to Christ that we made when everything was going well?

Will we forget the times of the past that God has led us through difficult times? Shall we forget the blessings, the healings, the miracles, and all the good things that God has done?

Will we ignore the fact that God has always been and will always be faithful to His promises in the Word of God? What will we do now that things are not more perfect?

Know, God is far above our little problems, no matter how bad they may seem to us.

God will not allow us to fail if we keep our trust and faith in him.
The choice to remain and persevere in the face of the problem is ours, for our God will not force our decision in one way or another because He wants us to learn and grow in Him. God will treat our decision as a loving Father and not as a tyrant dictator.

He gives power and renews the strength of the weak; And for those who have not, he will increase his strength.

I wish I could say that I understand why God allows some things to happen. I wanted to understand your designs, but I can not. Your ways are far beyond my capacity for understanding. I can only trust him with faith and know that somehow God will take care of everything.

God knows how to give you the power to overcome. He will take their weaknesses, their failings, their doubts and fears, and He will turn them into miracles of deliverance. In fact, God often does not move until we give it completely to Him, because honor and glory belong to Him.

God is our source of strength. God is our source of provision. God is our source of power. God is our source for everything we need! We can not do anything within ourselves without first presenting ourselves to Him.

... but those who wait on the Lord renew their strength. (Isaiah 40:31)

If you're facing great trials and testing right now, raise your head. Look at Jesus because all your answers are in him. Do not allow Satan to destroy your victory. Do not let him convince you that all is lost. Do not listen to your deceitful and lying voice. Listen to the voice of the Lord and the Word of God and raise your head so your redemption is closer than you think.

It will not be long before this world and all problems are left behind. We must see the King in all His glory. We should be like him and be with him in heaven. What a wonderful day it will be when my Jesus returns; When I look into His face and see His grace. Then my heart will continue to sing and with grace I will continue to worship. Until the day that my eyes behold the Savior, I will put my faith and trust in Him, and He will not fail.

Wait on the Lord. Put your faith and trust in Him and He will let your spirit soar above this world. He will lift your spirit on the wings of the eagle and you will be strengthened for the journey ahead. Be patient waiting, putting your wholehearted faith in Jesus and trusting Him, you will have your strength renewed.

Remember if! God has everything under control, operating He who will prevent it.
